DOMBEYA CAYEUXII
PINK BALL TREE
Dombeya cayeuxii is a member of the Malvaceae family and is a hybrid between Dombeya wallichii and Dombeya burgessiae and comes from Africa & Madagascar.
This Dombeya produces beautiful pink clusters of hydrangea-like fragrant flowers that flower for over months.
Deep pink flowers up to 40 mm across. This is a fast growing medium size multi-stem shrub that can be also trained into a standard.

Trimming should be done after the flowers are gone in the spring until mid-September. Cleaning up the dry flower heads is advisable for a tidy appearance. It is a strong grower.
