HI MY FRIENDS This strip is to inform you of changing conditions to our schedule. SENDING ORDERS     As of 29/11/2024 we will stop sending orders until 06/01/2025   at which time we will honor and send all waiting orders.    This is because of Australia Post Christmas mail chaos. We do our best to send our plants to you so they arrive in the best possible condition and this is not possible at that time. All orders will be honored at that time. WES

About Us

Weslor Flowers Plant Nursery began trading as a Wholesale nursery in 1990 supplying a range of over 500 varieties of plants to Retail Garden Centre’s, Landscapers and Chain stores and lately specialising in climbing plants. The nursery is owned and operated by Wes and Lorraine Vidler.

Wes is a former member of the executive committee of the Nursery & Garden Industry NSW & ACT Northern Rivers region and is a past Chairman of this organisation. Wes has worked as a part-time trainer with the Technical and Further Education organisation training students in Horticulture (nursery).

Wes and Lorraine hold Diplomas in Horticulture (nursery). Lorraine is also a past member of the above committee and is the nursery propagator producing most of the nursery’s plant propagation requirements. Lorraine also produced a gardening column for the local newspaper.

The nursery is generally accepted as producing very high quality plants that generally satisfy our customer’s needs. Mail order plants represents a change of direction for the nursery and is still in its infancy, although the mail order has been operating for a some period of time. The range of vines is very extensive with up to 150 species and growing, rare and hard to find plants as well as 135 Hoya species.

Our business is now based on producing for Mail Orders as stated above and exhibiting and attending Plant Expos.

We attend Brisbane Garden and Plant Expo at Rocklea Showgrounds in early March, The Plant Collectors Fair at Clarendon NSW in late March, The Brisbane Plant Collectors Fair at Rocklea Showgrounds in Early June of which Lorraine Jenny Marsden and I organise, and the Plant Lovers Fair at Kariong NSW in September.
