FEATURES: Hoya pubicalyx cv. Red Buttons is a fast growing Hoya suited for baskets and ladders. Flowers are beautifully red and are 12mm across comes in bunches of 30 to 40 in each flower hanging from along the stems. It is a hardy and easily grown it is free flowering with a good fragrance.
INDOORS: Most Hoya are well suited to hanging baskets or ladders and can be grown indoors under pot culture in a warm position but flowering is sometimes difficult.
IN GROUND: Dig the hole twice the size of the pot and plant level with the surrounding soil. Mounding can help with wetter soils. The vine will enjoy most soil types but prefers well drained gravelly soils, moist but not wet, warm but frost free above 4 degrees. Mulch well to conserve water.
