‘PEACH’
Allamanda cathartica ‘Peach’ is a member of the Apocynaceae family and is a hybrid bred by C D nursery in Queensland Australia with their origins in tropical America & Thailand.
It is a climber up to 2-3 metres by the same spread and is usually seen on walls or sometimes trained as a small shrub.
The flowers are 125mm across and funnel shaped, narrowing to a slender tube and form in clusters of two or three. The flowers appear from November to May in profusion and intermittently all year.
It is grown in full sun or part shade and likes a frost-free position and is drought tender.
Prune after flowering or in spring when new growth appears. Peach is a very popular climber that provides a beautiful display of large coffee/peach-colored flowers in profusion over a long period.
