CHINESE TRUMPET VINE
The Chinese Trumpet creeper is a deciduous strong growing vine that flowers from late spring to mid-autumn. The foliage is glossy green and fern like. The flowers are large (50mm wide x 50mm long) deep orange and trumpet shaped.
SOILS: The vine will enjoy most soil types but prefers well drained moisture retentive soil.
PLANTING: Dig the hole twice the size of the pot and plant level with the surrounding soil. Water in well till new growth appears.
CARE: Prune in winter if compact shape is required. Fertilise in spring and mulch well to conserve water.
