HOYA LONGIFOLIA IML 0185
Hoya longifolia was originally found in Mussourac in India in the Himalayas. The leaves are from 75mm to 150mm long, 5-7mm wide and are V or boat shaped and are thick and waxy.
It is a Hoya that is very pest resistant against scale, mealy bug, aphids or spider mites they seldom worry it.
It is a hanging plant and therefore well suited to hanging baskets, the flowers are mostly white with a fuzzy edge and in cooler areas may have a touch of pink.
INDOORS: It is well suited to hanging baskets or ladders and can be grown indoors under pot culture in a warm position but flowering is sometimes difficult.
CARE: Prune after flowering but don’t cut off flower buds as flowers appear each year on them. Fertilise during growing period and withdraw water in the colder months.
