Lonicera periclymenum cv. ‘Florida’ is a member of the Caprifoliaceae family and is a hybrid.
This honeysuckle is a vigorous, deciduous climber with dark green leaves that are whitish on the underside.
The flowers are fragrant and large reaching 40 cm long with deep reddish exterior and yellow inside in terminal clusters. The flowers are quite similar to Lonicera x heckrottii(Firecracker).
